KIND Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate Bar

Putting 'healthy' fruit and nut-based bars to the taste test... (1)

Score: 83/100

The KIND Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate bar is a chocolate coated bar with peanuts and hazelnuts. The company says that KIND is about celebrating and spreading kindness, one snack and one act at a time.Claim: 40% less sugar per 100g than sugary chocolate snacks and 50% nuts, a good source of fibre

The nutty texture and rich dark chocolate of the KIND Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate bar was popular with our testers and these bars look very appetising. Many thought this bar was tasty but might not be very healthy. There is 9g of sugar per bar, containing less than a chocolate bar such as Cadbury's Dairy Milk (14g per 25g). So it's still a treat at 201 calories and contains a fair amount of sugar but due to the high nut content it's more nutritious. This brand is new to the UK but is very popular in America.
